Parish Events

Along with a strong faith community, OLPH families enjoy a wide assortment of great activities each year that both kids and adults cherish and enjoy. Check out all of the great events we have each year:

Big 6 wheels, poker, 50/50 drawings and a fun horse race are some of the exciting activities. The event is sponsored by the OLPH Athletic Council.

The ever popular and delicious fish fry’s are held on the Fridays during Lent in our cafeteria from 5-7:30 p.m. All you can eat fish. (Not served on Good Friday.) The Fish Fry is open to the public so anyone can join us for a great meal!

This festive event is held indoor at the Activity Center each year one week before Easter weekend. Kids aged pre-school through grade school have a blast as they dig for treat-filled Easter eggs with a chance to win cool prizes.  There are also games, prize drawings, and other fun activities along with lunch and beverages for all. The Easter Bunny also makes his annual appearance!

*The OLPH Festival has been discontinued as of June 2018. OLPH is currently exploring new ideas for events so please check back!

Each summer OLPH has a relaxing picnic on our grassy athletic field where families can hang out while kids enjoy games and sports. This casual event has grilled food along with a potluck so there is something tasty for everyone to enjoy on a pleasant summer day.

The rummage sale runs during the final week of July each year and is open to the public.  OLPH collects multiple categories of items for the rummage sale and each year we have hundreds of valuable items to choose from at bargain prices!

Families love this kooky event where kids get to put on their Halloween costumes and trick or treat along rows of cars decorated with Halloween themes ranging from fun and silly to scary and macabre.

Each year on Christmas Eve families love to gather for this special Children’s Mass. It’s a touching way for families to spend Christmas Eve together while celebrating the birth of Jesus.
